This was a really sweet clean story. It’s was a struggle to get through the first couple of chapters as I couldn’t distinguish the characters very well with the voice the narrator gave them. I enjoyed Freddy’s character so much but the narration of his voice spoiled it for me,. It was difficult to distinguish between him and Foster, Foster was done well to the characters he should’ve been as he was a little intellectually disabled, however Freddy was made to seem slow too and he really wasn’t. I still enjoyed this story a lot. An epilogue would have also been nice.

I found this the best out of the three in the series. I didn't really enjoy the second at all. This could be read as stand alone too, however reading the previous two gives you a better insight into the full character of Sophia. I enjoyed this one.

Such an amazing, funny, heartbreaking, suspenseful beautiful story. Definitely a real connection for anyone who grew up in Brisbane at this time. Such a refreshing and original story too. The narration was A+++. Can’t recommend this highly enough.

This was an enjoyable read, A main character who is blind isn't one I've come across before and this made it interesting. Nice clean romance, was a little short. I could listen to any book narrated by Alex Wyndam.

I enjoyed this story, however I felt the ending was rushed and left it feeling incomplete. Seems like there should have been more to do with her family etc. Other than that it was an enjoyable read.

What a beautiful fun story, Sophy was a delight, so much fun. I struggled with the narration a little, in be able to distinguish between characters and who was talking when. Apart from that this was such an enjoyable book to listen to.

I'm going against the grain here, All the positive reviews really sucked me in to listening to this. This was the most depressing, frustrating, awful book. I get that it was supposed to be realistic, and it certainly fitted in with the "high profile" yummy mummy and daddy persona, which isn't real for most people. These two characters were awful people, I actually disliked Holly more than Cam, she was so frustratingly annoying and arrogant, I didn't warm to her AT ALL. She actually reminded me of a lot of horrible yummy mummies I actually know. Perhaps that's why I disliked it so much. I'm so pleased I didn't fork out money for this. However I regret the time wasted and how the ending left a bitter taste in my mouth. I'm so sorry Zoe Foster Blake, I normally enjoy your books. On a plus side the narration was great.

I was reluctant to listen to this one, I seem to get caught up on the odd bad review, one in particular said the storyline was dull, however, after reading the Parish orphan series I couldn't resist giving this one the benefit of the doubt. I'm so glad I did. It was refreshing in the fact the two main characters are honest about their feeling for each other from the start, none the misguided assumptions and misunderstands, which seem to go on a bit in books like this. I loved that it was all out in the open from the start and then their relationship just grew from there. There were some twists and turns along the way and an ending I didn't expect or suspect, this was a nice change too. This was a beautiful feel good romance, I'm loving every book I've read of Mimi Matthews so far, going to look for others now. The narration was perfect, Alex Wyndham has done a wonderful job of all the Mimi Matthews I've listened to so far.

I’m really loving this orphans series, I still can’t decide which one is best so far, I think Tom Finchley is my favourite. Alex was an entertaining character with a touch of humour. I don’t mind the male narration of these books, I nearly didn’t read because of some the bad reviews. It was a refreshing change. Such a beautiful ending too. I think there could have been so much more to this story. I would have loved to see atom and Alex working together in the future to fight the horrible solicitor and see the perfumery prosper. I would love to see a sequel with all four characters and their future.
