After listening to this book it left me wanting more but as I thought about it this book is almost a blueprint for any media with the same theme. Now that I've concluded with that I feel I've experienced the premier nuclear apocalypse story less of an apocalypse more of a disaster that is overcome by the strong willed that remain

Great book and actually unexpected from some very loose dudes. It has a couple of bits it the narrating that's is quite odd like different languages and stuff but if you're a Beastie Boys fan you'll understand it's their creative style like it or not

Fantastic and entertaining book. The only thing that'd make it better is if Gene himself narrated it. Very personal book and not so much an overview of the space program but Gene being such a high profile player knew and talks about all the big names and small names of the space program but in a more personal way and it has some insider kind of information
