Very enjoyable story with a new location and new protagonist from Ann Cleeves of Shetland and Vera fame. There is even a mention of bird watching which is not uncommon in a Cleeves mystery. I found it easy to identify one of the perpetrators. But otherwise the usual twists and turns

Good story not so good sound quality.

This has been a favourite Mary Stewart story of mine for many years Hhwever, this audio version was done in 1989 on cassette so the quality is not great with some sibilant speech and volume variation. This can be heard on the sample extract. The narration though is good and it is not an expensive purchase and it is a neat whimsical story.
