I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! It’s funny, entertaining, informative and at times poignant. And their visit to Culloden, especially the account Graham narrates, is truly heart wrenching. A fantastic listen (and I’m sure read) Graham and Sam are hilarious the way they bounce off one another and their friendship is very touching. I know want to visit Scotland even more than I already did it. I was very sad for the book to end!

A great listen!!

I really enjoyed this book, I could listen to Matthew speak all day,his accent is divine. I really enjoyable read/listen, a lot of inspiring and profound thoughts. A very small criticism; I wish it were longer, I didn’t want it to end and would have liked more detail in some sections. But overall loved it!

I am SO disappointed that’s the last of the series!! But what a magnificent ending it was!! Brent is an exceptional author and Simon Vance an exceptional voice actor, I can not praise either of them highly enough!

I love this series! Brent does an amazing job of bringing in twists and new directions for the narrative. Some of which I have to admit I wish he didn’t but then they are so well written you can’t help but get swept away! Love the musical accompaniment

Thought provoking, harrowing, heartbreaking and fascinating all at the same time.

Dolores’ work is always fascinating, this one was I think particularly impactful as it was such a recent setting. It strips away all the politics and shows the true impact of war, the true victims - the people. A beautiful soul told of his wonderful life and the tragedy it became, through no fault of his own as it did for so many. The factual research section was equally infuriating, heart wrenching and thought provoking. A brilliant read, the only thing ‘missing’; I would love to have heard the Soul in question speak from the life between lives perspective, to hear the Soul’s reflection on the life from that stand point

An absolutely fascinating narrative!! Deeply profound and insightful, the teachings and perspective of the Essenses and Jesus presented here are beautiful and filled with light, I didn’t want it to end...

I love Diana Gabaldon’s writing and all her characters, Lord John Grey is actually one of my favourites, and I very much enjoyed this story. However, as personal preference, I greatly prefer the full sized novels.

I LOVED this book!!! Michelle Obama embodies brilliance in every aspect of herself; as an individual, as a professional working mother, as a woman, as an African American woman, as a wife, as a mother, as a First Lady, she is a deeply inspiring individual who I have immense admiration and respect for. Michelle writes with eloquence and class, she is direct, honest and quite raw at times, while also being diplomatic and respectful. Michelle gives a fascinating insight into her growing up years, her family’s time in the Whitehouse and into the workings of the American political system, which is also at times shocking. I have always thought Michelle and Barack are a shinning example of humanity, this book reinforces that

I really enjoyed this book.. To be honest I was expecting a bit more of the ‘nitty gritties’ of Rob’s journey but while he doesn’t delve right in he does touch on everything (sex, alcoholism, scandal) and you get a feel for what he’s been through. I came away with a great admiration for Rob and he seems like a thoroughly likeable man who has grown into a loving and devoted family man.
