I bought this expecting something like The Rosie Project. I liked it but was not expecting all of the love scenes, I should read reviews and synopsis more! also I think the depiction of autism was oversimplified but good at identifying positive aspects.

I enjoyed this. when I heard the first 10 minutes and the concept I was not sure I would but it was very interesting with fairly good character development.

I initially found the narrator really hard to listen to and not very expressive. I think it suited the story in a way but she read very quickly and in quite a monotone. the story was good enough that I still wanted to continue listening.

read beautifully in a lovely voice but as others have said a terrible aussie accent that to me could have been read by another or just read the part without the accent. good twists, likeable flawed characters. I enjoyed this

I have been with audible for 2 years and most enjoy this genre. this book was the best I have listened to. well layered story, constantly unfolding intrigue that is not too far fetched, great imagery of rural australia (I grew up rurally), insight into reporting and characters that were multidimensional. I cant wait for his next book. also expertly narrated and perfect voice for the book. 10/10

I've enjoyed the first 2 of her novels but this is her best by far. especially if you have ever experienced the outback and it's people. I recommend.

a little different to other similar books out there which is great.
Dont take any of the medical advice to your memory, incorrect burns treatment and dont scuba before you fly! entertaining but perhaps a little long and tried a bit hard at the end to have an extra twist that was unnecessary to me and made it less believable.
