Kept trying to enjoy but it would digress to some childhood flashback or the 600th scene about Luke, needed to stay in the moment more, because what was there was good!

awful narration that speeds up and slows down dramatically from character to character making it an annoying listen. the bones of a great story.

A great story almost spoiled by unnecessary and weirdly out of place sex scenes scattered throughout. It's like the publisher thought they needed to throw in a quota to hit the 50 shades demographic. The story however was great. End felt a little rushed, but a good, light read with well developed characters. Relaxing

Less heavy than some of her books, which I enjoyed, but still with heart and harsh reality intertwined with intrigue.

Great but the Scottish accent takes getting used to. Would probably have enjoyed more if it were a lighter accent. Dark at times, but balanced with humour.

My favourite Author does it again. Humour perfectly used to make the sometimes sadness of reality bearable, even enjoyable!

Storyline less believable than Big Little Lies but still engaging, addictive and the characters well developed.

Expected a lighthearted murder mystery. Received what sounded like an episode of Passions, and read by Barbie. Too many mentions of tarot cards & rippling muscles for my tastes. Found the main character bitchy & unlikeable, but that might have just been because I really disliked the performer.

Brilliant for the modern mum who digs mystery and a touch of brutal mumlife reality. (Trigger warning: domestic violence)
