Like the 5:2 Diet only longer

If you’ve heard or read about the 5:2 diet this is exactly the same but different. The difference is the 2 days are not low 700 calorie days but 24 hour fasting days. The other two days according to the book is pretty much anything goes. Really? Eat what you like? Surely eating healthily on the other 5 non-fasting days would be better for you.

Look, I liked the book but I'll save you some money and a lot of time. There is no advice in here but lots of diet bashing to get to the final chapter and everything is distilled down to eat in moderation. Really! No Gene eating recommendations - no! This is a book dedicated to finding holes in Wheat Belly, issues with intermittent fasting, problems with low carb and the list goes on. Dr Giles is clearly a smart guy but this book is written on the back of finding holes with other diet books and beliefs. I was hanging out to hear something about eating a diet that is best for me based on my genes only to find out it doesn't exist.

Please don't waste your time and money there is nothing new to learn here unless you're new to this category.

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

I liked some of the concepts but every 20 mins or less a millionaire mindset conference is mentioned. Hey buddy, I bought this book for this content so please focus on what I have paid for not continually reference other material.

What could T. Harv Eker have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Not choose such a boring narrator.

What didn’t you like about Charles Constant’s performance?

Bland and boring and monotone voice.

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Yes, it did contain some pearls of wisdom and valuable takeaways.

Any additional comments?

If I could get a refund I would.
