It's 3 a.m., and Elizabeth Gilbert is sobbing on the bathroom floor. She's in her 30s, she has a husband, a house, they're trying for a baby - and she doesn't want any of it. I was hesitant to read this book as I saw the movie first and didn’t really like it. The book is so much better! Such a great adventure and the way Liz reads it and makes voices for all the characters was great!!!!

Story
More than 15 years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale, the theocratic regime of the Republic of Gilead maintains its grip on power, but there are signs it is beginning to rot from within. At this crucial moment, the lives of three radically different women converge, with potentially explosive results. Two have grown up as part of the first generation to come of age in the new order. The testimonies of these two young women are joined by a third voice: a woman who wields power through the ruthless accumulation and deployment of secrets.

This is not actual Audio of the book!

If you purchased “Wisdom of Sundays” thinking you cold read along you will be mistaken!
All Oprah does is reads the introduction to each chapter then plays an interview from your show Super Soul Sundays.
I purchased this audio book thinking I could read along.
The audio is excellent and Oprah as always, gives great advice with her guests.
These interviews you can listen to for free on the Apple pod cast app. Very disappointed
