Depressing for the first few chapters and I nearly gave up on it. Did the storyline improve? It changed but I found some of the characters immature and even annoying.

Slow to start, storyline a bit corny in places and almost childish in places.
Very disappointed.

Not up to the author’s usual standard. Glad it was a complimentary book as I would not be happy if I’d wasted a credit.

The story was okay but . .

The theme of female friendship makes for a nice story but stories need to be factually correct when they involve a serious health issue that impacts too many women.
Spoiler alert
When would a surgeon perform a mastectomy without first undertaking a biopsy?
We don’t want to discourage women from seeking medical advice when a lump is discovered for fear of surgery without proper investigation so please authors, realise that some people can take away a misconstrued medical belief from a poorly written story.

Like many others, I’ve followed the awful stories of institutional abuse for a number of years. There are many things highlighted in this book I didn’t know. Well written and well told. The worst of it is that none of this should ever have occurred.

Meh. Predictable and very average. The narrator’s attempt at Australian accent is poor.

I’ve read several of Natasha Lester’s titles and thoroughly enjoyed them but this title is just not up to scratch.
Tried as I may I just can’t persevere any longer. I cannot finish it.
This one I will return.

Fabulous, unique, engaging, funny, serious.

This title was recommended to me otherwise I may not have considered it and would have missed out on a great experience.
If you are a bit squeamish, be prepared.
Unique, funny, serious, riveting, quirky.
The narration is a perfect fit to the story.
I look forward to more from this author.
Well worth the credit.

I read reviews as these are generally are good guide. The reviews of this title were quite good but I just don’t share the same view. I found the storyline weak. Just not for me.
