I always struggled reading these classics but this was brought to life for me. Who knew Dickens was funny?! Thoroughly enjoyed this series and would definitely recommend. I think the perfect narrator was paired with this series. Well done!

A bit disappointing.

Although well written and narrated I did find this a bit slow to start. Don't think I'll bother with the next in series though, I felt the story line needed a bit more work the middle was fine but significant events towards the end were rushed and after getting to know all these characters they just get abandoned as we follow Lana to her next encounter. definitely won't be going on the repeat listening pile. sorry.

Only negative is the narrator was sometimes hesitant as she was making sure she spoke clearly. This is a great book and I'm looking forward to the next in series.

What a brilliant surprise!

I think I've found my new series. Listened to this book in one stretch just could not put it down. Luke Daniels is of course an amazing narrator and the reason I stumbled on this gem. Can't wait to listen to the next in series.

Im guessing there must be a third book because theres quite a few questions left unanswered. Honestly not sure that i will bother with it though. Definitely not s series i will be repeat listening. The writing needs to mature there are too many repeested sentences which get on your nerves and how many times can you walk into a solid wall only to find its a gorgeous guy?! seriously theres one in every chapter!

Love these books and am eagerly awaiting the third on audible. yes i have read it and it doesn't dissapoint. I was so stressed for the main characters I even skipped to the end to see who survived! No spoilers. This author gets better each time and I look forward to future works. This series will make you laugh out loud battle tears and rip your heart out but well worth every minute.

bit disappointed because i love T M Frazier. but something was lacking in this one. unfortunately the female narrator was not the best and i had a hard time getting past that. wont be buying the next in series audible version assuming its the same people narrating but would consider buying the book.
