I stumbled across this series by accident and am a first time listener to this genre. Very pleasantly surprised; an engaging and interesting listen. The narrators attempts at accents are quite amusing at times, and I think some of the cadence and intonation decisions are a bit odd, but overall a very enjoyable book.

A fantastic and truly captivating continuation of the Hell Divers series. This is one of the most original series I’ve encountered in the last couple of years and one I’ll definitely be re visiting. RC Bray continues to provide fantastic narration and retains his status as my favourite Audible narrator. This book and recording have been executed with excellence.

A truly fascinating follow up to Pandora’s Star. I found the narration problematic in that Mr Lee doesn’t distinguish well between different characters, despite being able to do a myriad of accents well. With such a fast pace it made keeping up a bit difficult. Otherwise, a very enjoyable listen.

The Greek myths are amongst the greatest stories ever told, passed down through millennia and inspiring writers and artists as varied as Shakespeare, Michelangelo, James Joyce and Walt Disney. They are embedded deeply in the traditions, tales and cultural DNA of the West. You'll fall in love with Zeus, marvel at the birth of Athena, wince at Cronus and Gaia's revenge on Ouranos, weep with King Midas and hunt with the beautiful and ferocious Artemis.

The myths are interesting, of course, however much of the dialogue detracts from the storytelling rather than adding value. Some of the ‘modernisations’ seem to clang and distract from otherwise vivid and interesting descriptions and explanations. As a long time Stephen Fry fan it pains me to say Mythos isn’t particularly bad, but it isn’t particularly good either.

Sauron, the Dark Lord, has gathered to him all the Rings of Power - the means by which he intends to rule Middle-earth. All he lacks in his plans for dominion is the One Ring - the ring that rules them all - which has fallen into the hands of the hobbit, Bilbo Baggins.

Elias has been found murdered on the eve of going to court on behalf of Michael Harris, a man the LAPD believes guilty of the rape and murder of a twelve-year-old girl.
