I found this book to be captivating, relevant, realistic and extremely well written. The science reads easily, is palatable and contributes to the themes without dominating the story, and the action is suspenseful without being overly done. I thought reading Craig Allanson had meant reading anything else involving AIs would be underwhelming - I’m so glad I was wrong, and I’m so glad I got this book!

I love how this book adds to the ExForce world without seeming like a slog into 'background information'. A great listen!

There are some great performances in this audio drama (you should definitely listen until the very end of the recording, just trust me), and it's a very interesting addition to the Expeditionary Force saga. I've given this book five stars as I truly believe that's what this production deserves, but I really, really hope the series continues in the standard style of narration that's used in the previous books.

Sometimes I need to be told uncomfortable truths. This book told me in a way that made me want to listen, and made me want to change. More than that, though, it made me think that I can.

I stumbled across this series by accident and am a first time listener to this genre. Very pleasantly surprised; an engaging and interesting listen. The narrators attempts at accents are quite amusing at times, and I think some of the cadence and intonation decisions are a bit odd, but overall a very enjoyable book.

A fantastic and truly captivating continuation of the Hell Divers series. This is one of the most original series I’ve encountered in the last couple of years and one I’ll definitely be re visiting. RC Bray continues to provide fantastic narration and retains his status as my favourite Audible narrator. This book and recording have been executed with excellence.

Very well written and performed, Red Rising is thoroughly entertaining and engaging throughout. The detail and intricacy of the caste system is fascinating and very well explored.

A truly fascinating follow up to Pandora’s Star. I found the narration problematic in that Mr Lee doesn’t distinguish well between different characters, despite being able to do a myriad of accents well. With such a fast pace it made keeping up a bit difficult. Otherwise, a very enjoyable listen.
