This book provides a good starting point for finding out more about breathing. Though they stories were interesting, there’s a lot of anecdotal evidence and not enough “science”. I wish there were more practical exercises included.

Happy to have listened to it but...

Could’ve been more. I was a fan of Twilight when I was a tween and teen, so this satisfied cravings to re-enter the Twilight world. However, I would’ve wished for less repetitiveness compared to the original Twilight. And how I wish the narrator was chosen better.

This audio book is full of common-sense ideas and uninspiring examples. The narrator, though clear, spoke with a dullness that's conducive to sleep. If you wanted to find out more about non-violent communication as I did, this book is not for you. It just touches on the topic, and treats it merely as a tool to resolve conflict.

Nosrat’s narration is enjoyable and peppered with short anecdotes. However, I didn’t learn anything new from this book. For the confident cook, the concepts illustrated in Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat might feel like plain old common sense.

This book is a great introduction to the psychology of persuasion. It’s interesting and features many anecdotes and case studies. The six universal principles outlined by Cialdini can be easily applied to everyday situations.
