Jeff Winston's life is not how he imagined it would be. An unhappy marriage and unrewarding job - and then he died. Aged 43. And woke up again, back in his college room, in 1963, age 18. With all his memories intact. If he applies those memories, he can be rich - he can have anything he wants - in this new chance at life. Until he dies at 43 and wakes up in his 18-year-old body again...and again in a continuous 25-year cycle, each time starting from scratch at the age of 18 to reclaim lost loves, make a fortune or remedy past mistakes.

Great concept that really makes you think. Would I want to know? It’s a great read. And it faces you with a curiosity ( curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back) would I do it? Yes I would.
Let’s face it 99% of us would want to know our soul mate...

I’m not really sure what I think of this story. I really liked it..but I didn’t quite understand it.
Positives .... narration fantastic .... melancholy yet sweet. .... I was invited to really like the characters and I did
Negatives ... overlooking the fact that it’s sci fi .. it was a little over the top ... a bit of a cringe with some particular parts ( such as she appeared as a clown 😬) the story quite corny especially the ending
It was ok

Every modern city has one week’s worth of food to feed itself. Then it will collapse. Cut off the resources to New York, Sydney, or even a mid-size metropolis, and millions will soon starve. In Zero Day Code we see those immense and open, hyper-complex, networked supercities of the new millennium die. And in the last moments we see their vengeance take form as all the best and worst traits of humanity bubble to the surface.

I cannot give a full review because I have not finished this audio book. I could not finish this book..actually I only got up to chapter 7 (painfully) because I could not tolerate the narrator!!!!
Over acted and cringe worthy and irritating. The American accents are horrible!

There was a few hours of story and the rest was recollections of the past books.
I had to finish the series and although I liked the concept of the story and the history etc, the series seemed immature like a book written for teenagers.
I was very disappointed.

Oh Dear...I was tricked!
Reviewed: 19-01-2016
Would you try another book written by Rick Yancey or narrated by Phoebe Strole and Brandon Espinoza ?
Yes...0nly if it was aimed at a more mature audience. I thought the two narrators did a great job
What will your next listen be?
Something that is not so schmaltzy..and more grown up
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Although the narrators were obviously young ...they were very natural there were no 'stupid' voices and I enjoyed their performance...I'm thinking if they were not so good I wouldnt have finished the book!
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The 5th Wave?
oh that doesn't count cos this book is aimed at a much younger audience
Any additional comments?
This book reminded me of a mix of The Twilight Saga and the Hunger Games...totally different genres but had a certain similarity
