I love the history lesson. The character development towards the end was a little weaker when compared to the beginning of the book but by that part of the story I already felt that I knew the characters well enough. Thank you Jen Follet for an incredible series

The book makes you never want to stop listening. I couldn't get enough of the universe inside and outside of the OASIS. I wished I was there with the characters exploring the world and playing the game, although I realised they had quite the headstart, learning the world from childhood.

I'd recommend this book to anyone who's ever spent a part of their life enthralled in video games or the culture of the 80's and 90's. As a 90's born millennial, a lot of the references went over my head, but I got all the important ones.

Loved it

What a production... I'm so glad to have heard this story.

John Lee does a great job as narrator and brings this passionate story to life.

This book follows a man through his adventure across the desert. It's less a dream about following your dreams than following your destiny. It also relies on the spiritual nature of reality. A nice fable, and you take from the story what you want.

Bill Bryson took me on a journey to scrape the surface of almost every field of science that has existed in our history. Their triumphs, shortcomings and peculiar stories of improbability. Would reccomend to anyone who has the desire to create a sizable, yet shallow breadth of knowledge into everything at once

A tantalising story of manhood, trials and the important things in life. Rich in history and diverse in geography.

On top of that, it was narrated appropriately, by John Curless. Bravo!
