Hear about this classic for years but never read the book. Had the opportunity to buy the audio at $1.99 - it was excellent. The author and narrator painted a true picture of America in the depression . The characters and story line were very believable

Really enjoyed this audio especially the Irish narrator. Guess the murderer early in the story as it was similar to another I had read but still a great listen.

Always enjoy the combination of Pratchett and narrator Stephen Briggs - with a bit of the Watch thrown in.

Throughly enjoyed the story but this recording needed some editing - what was the noise- swallowing / knocking the mic - really not sure but it did distract

This is a well known story but comes to life with the incredible narration by Andy Serkis. Suitable for upper primary children snd all adults . Worth listening to again and again

A planet of billions of flesh eaters ...... that's how a frightened alien describes planet earth . Very interesting story development but that would spoil the ending.
