The story could of been really entertaining the possibilities of the story line are numerous.
But at times I felt as if I were been treated as a child and listening to a childs book.
I did not like the narration the British accents were heinous.

The Rivers of London series are a joy to listen to. Mr Aaronovitchs writing style brings the rivers, streets and people of London alive and the narration of Mr Holbrook-Smith gives body to the listening ear. I will be very sad if either Mr Aaronovitch or Mr Holbrook-Smith decide to call it a day on this series.

I found it impossible to engage with the characters and at times I felt as if I would of had more empathy with characters and the story if I had of been aged 13. I loved A G Riddle's Departure....what happened here.

Cannot get enough of these books. The stories are extremely entertaining and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith's narrative is superlative.

In the beginning the story jumps from one character/scenario abruptly with no fluidity but toward the end of the book you don't notice this, probably becauce all the characters have become familiar.
I enjoyed this book
