This book was a super cute read. There’s not really much angst as Dillon falls in love with Sarina at first sight in the very first chapter and pines for her until he finally meets her again. I absolutely loved how nervous he was around Sarina BUT I loved even more when his alpha side comes out. Dillon’s character was complex. He carried a lot of personal baggage and although he was this hot jock that everyone fell over, he was very insecure about being wanted or replaced. He was super protective of Sarina and cared for her family as well which was super sweet. I loved the Nana 😂. Sarina also had a lot of personal past baggage from a previous relationship which made her afraid to give herself to Dillon. I loved how much she looked after her family, especially her sister. The main characters had so much chemistry & the steamy scenes were 🔥. Epilogue was super cute set a few years later.
The narrators were fantastic and I felt they really fit the characters. Sometimes I had trouble keeping up with what they were saying out loud and what they were saying in their heads when they were having conversations but I think that’s more on me.
Over all I highly recommend. Now I’m going back to read I dare you, I bet you & I hate you. 😄

I loved the off-campus/briar u series! This was probably one of my favs as the main characters find each other straight away and their relationship kicks off quickly. Super low angst with a little bit of drama that gets in the way briefly a couple of times.
The book touches on some important issues such as body image/ body shaming & self confidence/ self worth issues. Both main characters struggled with self worth issues but for different reasons.
I absolutely loved the connection with Taylor’s mum & Connor’s coach. Each scene around this development was absolutely hilarious, I couldn’t stop laughing.
My favourite scene from the whole book was when Connor’s step father come to see him. That got me right in the feels. 😭
I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get much of an update of the other characters in this book. We don’t really see much of the previous main characters in this book apart from Hunter, Brenna, Demi & Summer once or twice. I thought being the last book of the series there might be more of an epilogue regarding more of the characters but we only get a glimpse into their summer in California.
Over all I enjoyed the book and loved the narrators. Teddy is my fav!!!

Everyone says I’m a bad girl. They’re only partly right - I don’t let fear rule me, and I certainly don’t care what people think. But I draw the line at sleeping with the enemy. As the daughter of Briar’s head hockey coach, I’d be vilified if I hooked up with a player from a rival team. And that’s who Jake Connelly is. Harvard’s star forward is arrogant, annoying, and too attractive for his own good. But fate is cruel - I require his help to secure a much-coveted internship, and the sexy jerk isn’t making it easy for me.

I loved this book in the series. So much angst but Jake & Brenna were 🔥 when they finally get together.
I really loved that Brenna & her Dad finally worked everything out. I literally had tears in my eyes when they had the heart to heart. She was so damaged from the past situation and really felt like she had no one on her side which absolutely broke my heart.
Holy hilarious was the side relationship of Hollis & the stalker girlfriend 😂 It had me in stitches laughing!
Highly recommend this series!

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn't include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she's willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

I really enjoyed the off campus series but I have to say this was my least favourite of the 4 stories.
I absolutely loved Tucker, you just could not fault him at all. He was so sweet and supportive. But I really struggled to connect with Sabrina. She just come across so selfish to me. Tucker was constantly waiting on the side for her to let him in closer but she happily held him at arms reach and took him when she wanted him. Not to mention she never once asked how he was feeling about the pregnancy or asked what he wanted to do. That really got to me, and when he FINALLY told her he loved her she ignored him and literally said she wanted him to say it again at a better time for her. WHAT?! What better time to confess your love then after the birth of your baby. I totally get she was trying not to trap him but the poor guy couldn’t have made it any clearer that he wasn’t going anywhere. I just couldn’t deal with the angst!!!!!
I loved that the story included all the other characters and even gave us a base for what was to come in the first book of the Briar U series which follows on from this series. I have already read ‘The Chase’ but I will be re reading now I’ve realised it comes after the off campus series because there were character references that I’ll understand now!
Over all I’m glad that Tuck & Sabrina finally got their HEA. I loved that all the big burley hockey boys were swooning over their little baby niece after she was born, even Dean!
I listened to the audiobook via audible and enjoyed the performance of the narrators.

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn't have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she's nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won't include the king of one-night stands.

I really enjoyed this book in the off campus series. I love how the books all flow from one to the other.
There is a lot of character development in this one especially with Dean. I loved how he didn’t want to volunteer with the kids but ended up getting so much enjoyment out of it that he decided to make a career out of it.
I actually really liked Sean in the previous books so I was kinda sad at first to see his character transform into the bad guy. But Dean and Allie were such a perfect fit, I really enjoyed listening to their journey.

In fifth grade my teacher set us up with pen pals from a different school. Thinking I was a girl, with a name like Misha, the other teacher paired me up with her student Ryen. My teacher, believing Ryen was a boy like me, agreed. It didn't take long for us to figure out the mistake. And in no time at all, we were arguing about everything. The best take-out pizza. Android vs. iPhone. Whether or not Eminem is the greatest rapper ever. For the next seven years, it was us. She's the only one who keeps me on track, talks me down, and accepts everything I am.

I really enjoyed this book! It contains a lot of meaning and important notions of friendship & bullying.
Although I worked out most of the story surprises for myself before they became apparent, I still enjoyed the mystery and slight suspense.
The characters were great. I found Ryan to be very relatable. I think most people feel the same way as she did going through school and just wanting to fit in. Mischa was very loveable & super caring. His character was so deep and carried a lot of emotion.
I would definitely read this book again and recommend it to anyone who loves a sweet romance with a little mystery about the past. There’s a little angst but not much as they are drawn together quite quickly. Lots of steamy scenes & a sweet HEA epilogue.

I loved the characters. Both main characters were strong independent fiery people who fit perfectly together. I loved their HEA.
Looking forward to the next book so I can put my mind at ease! It’s kind of an MC romance but not really. I have a feeling that it might become more so in the next books but we shall see!

Choices. Everyone makes them. From mundane to unimaginable, one choice can change the trajectory of your entire life. My mother’s choice was to abandon us with our abusive father. My brother’s choice was to go to prison for killing the boy who assaulted his soulmate. Camden Cole’s choice was to fall in love with a shattered girl who had absolutely nothing to offer him but heartbreak.

I absolutely adored the first book in this series ‘Release’ & honestly didn’t think I’d like this one as much but I was so wrong! I loved this one even more.
I love childhood sweetheart romance books and this one killed me! How long they held onto each other without actually being with each other was so heartbreakingly beautiful I wanted to cry!
It broke my heart that Nora couldn’t let herself be happy & that she felt so unworthy. But I literally finished reading the last chapters of this book grinning like a Cheshire Cat to the point my cheeks hurt.
This is definitely one book that will slide into my forever a favourite collection. I highly recommend this series. Absolutely beautiful!

Growing up, Ramsey Stewart branded my soul in ways time could never heal. At 12, he asked me to be his girlfriend. At 13, he gave me my first kiss. By 16, we’d fallen in love, planned a future together, and had our eyes set on the horizon. Love never fails, right? But for Ramsey, it did. I failed him. The entire world failed him. At 17, Ramsey was convicted of killing the boy who assaulted me. "Move on", he wrote in his first and only letter from prison. There was no such thing as giving up on Ramsey. Love may have been our curse, but he was mine - then, now, and forever.

What an emotional roller coaster yet such a beautiful book! I LOVE a good childhood love romance story and this one was amazing. I was literally listening to this book with tears welling in my eyes more then a few times.
Their journey of love that started from the age of 10 was heartbreakingly beautiful. They were 2 broken little souls suffering from loss, brought together by their grief & need to be loved. They went from tiny frenemies to high school sweethearts over the space of 6 years and it was the cutest thing I’ve ever read.
The characters were beautiful, especially Ramsey before he went to prison! He had the weight of the world on his shoulders and was always protecting his girls (his sister Nora and Thea). My favourite part was definitely how Ramsey handled the situation when Thea got her period for the first time. He was so sweet!
I was so angry at Ramsey when he was first released from prison until his real thoughts and feelings became apparent. My heart absolutely broke for Thea. She waited for so long but I loved how she was so strong & determined.
I really adored that Thea’s Dad pulled it together and become the adult that all 3 of them needed. I loved that he liked Ramsey from the beginning and how their relationship developed. I also loved how he stepped up for Nora & took her in as his own when Ramsey couldn’t protect her anymore.
The twist towards the end was a huge shock to me. Although I will say I was initially surprised once I found out how Ramsey ended up in jail. It wasn’t the way I would have imagined him to get his revenge if at all so it all made sense eventually.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance novels with a selfless swoon worthy hero. Specifically a love that starts as child hood friends. The story is told with lots of flash backs. There is some childhood trauma, loss, some anxiety/depression & mention of rape in this story.
Narrators were amazing in this book, they were perfect for the characters.

Wow this book was really something else. I was completely captivated by this story & the characters.
There is a lot of real topics mentioned in this book including mental health issues, bad childhood & drug use. Shi’s story was heartbreaking. Imagine being a child struggling in your own head & having not one person want you. Seriously the first part of the book had me raging!!!! I was so angry at Shi’s father & Natasha for not doing everything in their power to help her. Shi herself was so loveable, smart, beautiful and selfless. She just needed to be loved.
I absolutely adored Cut. He was nothing short of amazing 100% of the time. He was completely devoted to Shi from the moment he notices her. He is so understanding and it was so beautiful to read. The car park scene 🥰 So much intensity & looovvveeeeee!
Shi & her 2 besties are seriously GOALS! I loved reading their escapades. I loved that Shi had so many people around her that cared so deeply for her which made up for her shitty excuse of a family.
I also loved that Hunter maintained as much of a relationship with Shi as he could despite the family members trying to keep him from her. Don’t get me started on FUCKING CHAD! I’ve never loathed a book character more then Chad. Seriously I just couldn’t deal with how horrible he was and he didn’t even have a good excuse’ It was the definition of ‘but I was told... or ‘but I thought...’ I was so glad he basically disappeared & seemingly lost everything good in his life even though he was sorry at the end.
Seriously this book is worth the read. I literally didn’t sleep last night so I could finish it 😅
Narrators nailed it like always. Love these two!
