This audiobook is special; listening to the voice of the narrator I was able to become immersed in the world of Margo, the protagonist. In the reader's voice you hear touches of tenderness, empathy and caring. And the listener also cares about Margo, wishes her well as we accompany her on her suspenseful, tumultuous path through bitter disappointment, struggle, her fall and redemption.
Is Margo's irrationality the result of a weak, undisciplined mind - or of an overwhelming need so powerful that - oblivious to reason - it must be fulfilled at any price? The End of Miracles is about the struggle between the need of a broken heart pitted against the forces of reason.
I enjoyed this book and recommend it. It is great.
