This series never fails to keep me wanting more. The story started out safely with scenes similar to the previous book, although towards the middle and end, the whole dynamic shifted in a very exciting way. Thanks for the great story, and the great narration.

The story and narration work incredibly well together. While it feels like a Part 2 of the previous book, it doesn't take away from the adventure. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

I was originally going buy the sequel until I learned of this series. I almost skipped because of the sample audio, but the book is actually interesting, and the voice acting is very compelling. Glad I didn't turn it down.

Less than an hour in and there's already two more harem members. Then a lot of the story is Ash idolizing them and the other members. It's soured a lot of the good writing in this story.

Battle after battle, debate after debate, flashback after flashback. They were good and interesting in the first few books, but this is the sixth book. I want something new and interesting. I couldn't listen to a single chapter all the way through.

Anyone with a brain would realise that going against what is arguably a master of subterfuge without any outsider awareness and preparedness is a stupid idea that will almost definately fail.

I enjoyed the story, but that section spoiled some of it. The narrator gave a great performance.

Good narration, world, and characters.

I enjoyed listening. There are many interesting ideas involved, however I found myself yawning from the long sections of dialogue. I would have preferred more action, but it's a good story regardless.

This story is a unique take on an increasingly stale genre. I was horrified at the new perspective I was drowned by in the beginning, but I very quickly grew to enjoy the main character and the narration. While the storyline is not unlike other stories I've listened to, the mc and narration is very new to me. I imagine it's difficult to portray uncouth with eloquence, however Wayne Mitchell performs it well.

What makes this story stand out for me is the fluid character development, and a realistic player development system that doesn't flood me with boring stat updates every 2 chapters like so many others I've listened to. The only part I disliked was when Venom visited Maxis's geode. It didn't make sense at all given their levels and circumstances. Travis Baldree is always an amazing voice, and he didn't fail here.

A major issue I cannot get over is that the God MC is ruled by grants him a power with barely any explanation, and is upset and irritated when he fails to comprehend everything involved with something he's never had to think about within the first few hours of receiving it, which soon makes the MC annoying and a massive handicap to himself and the readability of the story. Other than that, the story flows well, and the characters are interesting.
