This book had made me think about how I might live my final days, should I be lucky enough to be able to plan for this . Really thought provoking - the narration was excellent.

This book was boring with insipid characters and a predictable simplistic plot. How was this a Sunday Times bestseller???

As an Irish person I was excited to read this book particularly when I read the generally favourable reviews - However I did not think this was well written at all - i found it irritating and boring - and don’t get me started on Maude’s Australian accent!

Loved this podcast, could not stop listening. So intriguing - have listened to many of the top crime podcasts such as Serial - but they are not a patch on this. As a Cork born girl I may be a tad biased though - I would highly recommend you listen West Cork, and it’s free!!

Utter rubbish - badly written predictable and oh so whiny - I couldn’t even finish it - skipped a few chapters here and there to see if there was any improvement - I have never returned a book and when I buy a book that I don’t enjoy from audible I usually just own my mistake, However Audible named this their thriller of the year (hence why I purchased it) so I felt they owed me!

I hated this book initially and almost gave up on it. I'm glad I stuck with it. This book sucks you in completely. The main character's complicated relationship with her parents was the highlight for me. This is definitely worth persevering with.

Maybe I am getting too old..I've enjoyed and at times loved Irvine Welsh books, and I realise you need a strong stomach for his writing This book was graphic and vulgar but it just didn't work. Completely charmless.
