Thank you JS Morin- i took a chance on a self published author and now regret i didn't do so earlier! The characters are just familiar enough, but still different enough to stand as their own universe yet be like that old long time friend you haven't seen fir a while but carry on like you only saw them yesterday. Mikael's performance only enhancing the stories, giving each a life all their own. No spoilers, but whats not to love about scifi, magic and rock music rolled into one? Do yourself a favour, get on the JS Morin train!

Being new to Scalzi, there was a level of trepidation, but thanks once again to the excellence of Wil Wheaton, Scalzi has a new fan. Bring on more Harry Creek!

While a few of the novel's topics appear to be unnecessarily tacked in for the sake of ticking all the"PC" boxes, doing little to further the story but definitively letting the reader know just where Ernest Cline Stands when it comes to "all that", Wil Wheaton absolutely nails the delivery of a well crafted and highly entertaining story - here's hoping Ernest Cline does as well on the as yet to appear sequel. (and Wil Wheaton takes over the presidency).
