Story all over the shop and no real connection between people - Even Tanner and Jenny. The story line was muddled, murky and mouldy. And the way Jenny is discarded leaves everyone asking as to why? No closure for readers here. Tanner became annoyingly ridiculous and became weaker and weaker as a character. Shoddy Work!

What West Irish man woman or child did NOT know Gàidhlig especially during this period? If you use an Irish woman in a story, that was from a ravished west Ireland village, know she spoke fluently her native tongue...Unless she was struck dumb by lightening! Tramore is said Trá Mhór...not said Tram-more. It’s like listening to Americans say Gal-a-way when telling me they just visited Tig Choili and heard the wonderful old music with a pint of Guinness! It’s cringeworthy!

In beginning It was ok but not sure if writer knows Ireland very well. Connemara is not in Mayo. And the narrator in first stories could pronounce Nuala and in this story the narrator mispronounces the name. Molly needs to get a bit more backbone. She’s becoming whiny.

I was left devastated when I heard the word “Epilogue”! I had to pull the car over to see that it wasn’t true! This was a continuation of the series and gripping. But so much more to be answered and action to be taken. Enjoy this series very much!

Great story but the recording is not the best. Ruairi’s voice starts off soft and far away due to the recording. Like no bass to it. However the story hooks you and can hear a bit of change as the chapters continue. Will listen to the next one.

That was a journey and a half! Descriptive writing throughout and yet at times, a little too much. However, you have to follow the journey and to find out the truth. It’s worth a listen to.

Dull, dull and more so. It’s been written in a historical view via ancient texts in a Cambridge or Oxford lingo that gives it not an ounce of heart or adventure nor a connection to characters. Kudos to the screenwriters in making the film and giving it the soul the book desperately needed.
