Story
All of us long to know what life after death will be like. Best-selling author John Burke is no exception. In Imagine Heaven, Burke compares over 100 gripping stories of near-death experiences (NDEs) to what Scripture says about our biggest questions of heaven: Will I be myself? Will I see friends and loved ones? What will heaven look like? What is God like? What will we do forever? What about children and pets?

This is my new favourite book. I love how intellectual this book is, it really gives rational food for thought which is just what is needed on the topic of near death experiences. This is the one book I feel comfortable lending to other people on the subject because it’s so well written from an analytical perspective. Highly recommend!!

Story
Created, not born. Her name is Eve. Myth and legend shroud her in mystery. Now hear her story. She knew this earth when it was perfect - as she was perfect, a creature without flaw. Created by God in a manner like no other, Eve lived in utter peace as the world's first woman, until she made a choice, one mistake for which all of humanity would suffer.

This book is the number one book that I have been waiting and hoping would be made into an audiobook. “Havah” is a very imaginative and thought provoking masterpiece. In this book Tosca paints a vividly contrasting picture of humanity both before and after the fall. It really gave me so much insight that it’s one of my all time favorite books. Please keep writing biblical historical fictions Tosca - I also very much loved Iscariot and Sheba :)

Story
In this third volume of his Women of Genesis series, Orson Scott Card paints a vivid picture of the intertwined lives of four celebrated women. We meet Leah, the oldest daughter of Laban, whose "tender eyes" prevent her from fully participating in the daily work of her nomadic family, and Rachel, the spoiled younger daughter, the petted and privileged beauty of the family - or so it seems to Leah.

A very dramatic, emotional story and performance as can only be fitting for such a dramatic biblical narrative. Adds a lot of colour to how that family might have become what it did, and challenges the obvious conclusions we all draw when reading the bare facts in the Bible. The most expressive and feeling narration I’ve ever listened to, easily the best performance I’ve yet heard - well done Emily.
