From the very start this book was easy to get in to. the readers voice is clear, crisp and demands respect. it gets you sitting up right away. what an extraordinary career and wonderful man. It's such a shame how politics were realistically the end of your career. I believe what makes such good homicide investigators is the level of empathy for the victims such people like yourself and Ron Iddles show. Be proud of what you have achieved. You are an extraordinary man. obviously your tenacity and never quit attitude was what made you so successful, it's probably also what was eventually the ending as you pissed off one too many bosses, but without this I'm sure so many more cases may have gone unsolved. Enjoy your future, whatever it may bring. Love from NZ.

Wasn't too bad.

The foreword by Karen Kilgariff is probably the most pointless thing I have ever listened to in my life. The book was ok, but the title was more exciting. Was great to have the afterword when the GSK was caught.

Really hard to follow this book. It bounces all over the show, so many characters come in and out of scene scenes. You will struggle to make sense of who is who. Very little character description, so hard to visualize the characters in the book. A few funny moments and phrasing that made me chuckle. Overall I probably wouldn't recommend. Not one of the best books I Have listened to.

Great book just needs updating.

Took a while to get used to a female voice but found her very easy to listen to. Great book, needs updating however obviously with the recent updates on the case.

The first half was great. when it gets to the court case just stop the book. its not worth another 10 hours of your time.

Best performance from any book I have listened too. Thoroughly enjoyed. The accents and voices used here are second to none.

A great book. the only criticism I have is that it hard to visualize the characters in the story and no rough ages or physical descriptions are given.

Such an amazing life story so poorly told. The manner and order in which this is told is extremely confusing.
