As discussed multiple times, the accents were terrible. By the end I was more annoyed at the male narrators performance of female characters.

As for the story, the plot was ok and I got to the point where I had invested so much time I wanted to see how it ended. Having finally reaching the end, I wished I cut my losses earlier. The author is a waffler, he just kept going and going and even when the main plot point resolved the chapters still kept coming. The plot also lost it's way. Sometimes less is more!

The story was filled with twists and turns that drew me in, with a premise that was different and refreshing.
It wa so nice to hear a book that was so well written. Sentences that were well constructed and beautifully descriptive.
The male narrator was well suited to the book and even performed the female parts well.
Highly recommend

Really struggled to get through this book even through I have enjoyed her other books. It took forever to warm up and then her usually great plot twists didn't add up as progressions to the story rather being more about achieving the outcomes she wanted the story take. Only finished it because I wanted to see how it ended after investing so much time. Narrator was good but she wasn't working with a great manuscript.
