I love Karamo and his many projects, however this book was too repetitive and lacked a deeper look into his life. Throughout the book he goes over the same things in a way that leaves much to be desired. It was unfortunate as I was looking forward to this book. Just one man's opinion though, I'd say listen to it for yourself and make your own judgement.

Phenomenal, funny, wise and touching.

This is probably one of the most entertaining books I've ever read/listened to. Tan has such a natural way of coming across to readers/listeners and he had me laughing the whole way through.

This was such a great course, even for someone like myself who is quite educated in religious thought. I learnt quite a few things I didn't know and it's made me want to dig even deeper.

Intricate and inciteful

This book is both a self help book and a philosophical look at the human condition through the eyes of psychology. It's not the traditional self help book but rather one that uses thorough research to explain what things are unhelpful and what you should do to change them. It won't "baby" you or give false hope through grandiose promises. Instead it is a guide on how to live a life that you are proud of. Its about changing the small everyday things to eventually see a larger effect that is desirable and maintainable in the long term. I expected nothing less from a world renowned clinical psychiatrist and academic who is always delving deeper into the way we think and the way we act. An incredible piece of work.

It's great to delve into the intelligent and deep mind of Alan Watts. It's like you are sitting in a room with him. These talks will leave you seeing yourself and the world in a more profound way.
