Packed with astute observations and lots of great ideas. I'm biased because it agrees with my pre-held beliefs but I like the "outside looking in" approach Yuval takes towards analysing humans.

As a software developer that's too young to have lived through a fair bit of this, it's great to know the history. Helps me understand the current situation.

The content is structured well and engaging. The performance was pretty boring but wasn't "bad". Just room for improvement.

Phil strung his life together into an interesting and enjoyable narrative.

The narration was excellent too. I'd happily listen to more by this narrator.

I think my expectations were set to high because this is such a "must read" book. There is certainly some good content in there but there's also some cherry picked examples and some religious views that don't gel well with me.

My biggest problem is with the performance. It's basically 13 hours of mouthy clicks, squelches and whistles. For anyone who's sensitive to that sort of stuff, it's torture.

Kevin makes a topic -- that could be bland -- quite interesting. I like his teaching style, he gives good advice on how to retain words and most of the words in the course are new to me.

My only criticism is that it would be best to spell out the words the first time we hear them. I know the full PDF book is included but it would be more convenient to have the spelling as we listen.

If you enjoy Matt's YouTube videos, you'll also enjoy this book. Presented really well in Matt's usual nerdy, enthusiastic manner.

The story was good and the performance was well done by the narrator, although some knowledge seems lost from the last 2 books on how to say his surname. That echo effect though! So, so, so bad. Don't ever use it again!

Another great Dennis Taylor book with Ray Porter narrating. A winning combination for sure! I like the extra production for radio voices and the computer's voice.
