What a powerful, epic tale,. Absolutely loved it and immediately bought the sequel. Full of surprises with beautiful, evocative language. I felt like I was in the Downs.

Repetitive, predictable, silly. Came across as a teen romance although quite graphic sex scenes. Am glad it was free

I found the story interesting and thought provoking with enough twists to keep me guessing. The narrator was great when speaking characters but I found her laughing voice really irritating in the general narration..

I felt that the narrater ruined the story with unbelievable voices that seemed to whisper and were without personality. The narration of actual text was gratingly harsh in comparison. It was difficult to finish listening.
