Storyline was great. The character’s were quirky and interesting. However this is probably a very personal thing but the story was not set in America. So having a narrator with an annoying nasal twang American accent spoils it for me.

I am a fan of Neil Gaiman. Although I was not sure this book was for me. It has been a while since I’ve enjoyed a book this. Everything about this was outstanding. Performances were incredible. This story was delivered by an amazing amount of talent.

While I really enjoyed listening to this book and Sandras story. I would’ve liked to of heard more about the people she helps. Sandra sounds like an incredible Human. It might sound a bit macabre but this is an area that not many people understand or know about. As with most things that are an unpleasant Topic I would’ve liked to of understood more about it.

I must be one of those bias people. I really enjoy David’s writing and narrating. I don’t think anyone else could read his stories. As l was listing to this book I had to stop walking as I laughing to myself and thought I would pee my pants. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The performers voice was annoying. I feel like she was reading a children’s story. This spoiled it for me. The subject matter was of great historical significance and the story was a bit empty and clumsy. Not one of my best reads / listening.

I was not completely sold on the purchase of this book. As I really enjoy them when they are read by the author himself. Lenny Henry was terrific it really couldn’t be read by anyone else. He’s a great marriage with the story.

I wouldn’t of ordered this book had I realised.
Never mind alway a pleasure to listen to Neil Gaiman’s voice.

I love the sound of Neil Gaiman's voice. Which probably sounds bias but his elocution of the English language is magic. He’s characters in each story sound so believable. This book is easy to get listen to as most stories are short so you can pick it up easily where ever you left off. Pure adult fairytales truly great entertainment.

I've not been disappointed with any of Haruki Murakami stories. It's an addictive style of writing.
Rupert Degas has a wonderful voice.
