Loved listening to this in audible. Narrator did well and was good as there was a lot of voices to deal with but not fantastic. Just so enjoyable and quite a few laugh out loud moments that had my husband looking at me strangely. BOOK REVIEW Yes, I had some wonderful laugh out loud moments reading this, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride right till the end but I just felt it missed the mark by a small margin. There is supposed to be a romance between Max, the third sister and Zeze, a cat who didn’t know he was a cat. What we didn’t get was a romance. What happens between Ze and Max was just pitifully poor. No sparks, no heat and just no connection. That will not stop me getting the audible version though. Though I did thoroughly enjoy this story and appreciated how well everything came together in the first half, the second half, though entertaining to the end, just lacked romance and connection between Max and Ze. A twist at the end I didn’t see coming, one or two problems dealt with, unfortunately Freddie was not one of them and new characters to be written about. You really cannot appreciate this book as a standalone. There are too many pop in characters that will mean nothing, if you have not first read the Pride series to understand some of the other characters and the then the two previous books in the Honey Badger series. Read through my local library.

Wonderful to have this series in audible as well.

Wonderful to have this series in audible as I have read these so many times.
The narrator is good and I enjoyed listening but just not enough differentiation from male to female character voices.
BOOK REVIEW
Wonderful ride along story with our mixed group of Halle Pumas and Poconos Pack.
What a tangled web was created between Sarah and Gabriel by not mating before Gabe went off to hunters training.
Sarah has a big surprise of her own as well.
Loved the tension in this story and how it kept you wondering if it would get sorted.
It was great to have Belle and Rick along and weren’t they the surprise act.
I only wonder what Jim did whilst Sarah went off with Gabe as they had technically gone to the wedding as dates and poor Chloe, her fated mate thinks she is a child.
Lovely to see Emma and Max married.

This is also book one of POCONOS PACK.

BOOK REVIEW
This is also book one of POCONOS PACK.
I don’t often give 5 stars but Belle deserves them.
You really need to read this book to understand but I would seriously recommend reading Halle Shifters in full to get the best benefit as there is so much more going on.
I have read all of these interconnecting books at least four times. They are my go-to, to laugh out loud and relax books.
Whilst I love this whole series this book is one of my favourites purely due to Belle.
We met Belinda or Belle in book one. She was the bestie of a very nasty woman who caused problems for Emma. Whilst Belle did not know of the rotten ones’ actions she is tarred with the same brush and suffers some backlash from the locals.
Emma stands up for Belle and makes her part of her inner circle of friends.
Belle is then very gravely injured saving a pack mates life. During recuperation she meets Rick, a visiting Wolf Alpha and is claimed but not.
Belle heads to her new home The Poconos pack to start a new life with her alpha wolf but life has not decided to give her a break yet.
Read to find out what happens.
We now have the crazy Poconos pack to read about as well.

Lovely to listen to this series.
Very enjoyable to be able to listen to this wonderful tale whilst doing other things. Narrator did well with all the different characters voices. Cannot say everyone sounded like I imagined but hey, I can overlook that detail.
Didn’t hate Tonya as much in audible as I did reading.
BOOK REVIEW
Slow in the beginning but loved the last half.
Like Magda’s story, we spend a fair amount of time in the human realm instead of the Seven Kingdoms.
This is only the second book by this author where I have not liked the heroine.
No matter how much I have waited and wanted to read Ashure’s story, the first 50% seemed to go at a much slower pace than previous books.
I am probably the only one who felt unhappy when I found out Tonya was Ashure’s mate.
This is due to her attitude and demeanour from previous books. Her gung-ho reporter, get the story at all costs, even by lying behaviour from earlier books put me off her.
I really struggled with the first half of this book, I kept putting it down due to my feelings about Tonya. I just wasn’t happy when she kept encouraging Deputy Dan, in front of Ashure. I especially disliked when she goes from kissing Ashure, to getting ready for a date with Dan.
Even though Tonya is likeable enough by the end of the story, I felt no great love, passion or connection with these two. Again, this may be my antipathy towards Tonya.
The second half though, proved to be interesting and faster paced and became quite entertaining.
I don’t feel like I learnt much more about Ashure than I already knew, except for how close he is to Nali. They seem to be better friends than I thought.
I enjoyed how everything played out with all the characters and how Ashure and Tonya help Ramon and his family was sweet.
I loved the ending with Magna, Gabe and Kane attending the wedding and that everyone is starting to realise how much they owe Magna.
This is rounding off nicely to the final book.

BOOK REVIEW
Once again a great extended version by this talented author.
Gem reacts first and asks questions later. LOL. Poor Ross, he really coped a lot of hassle.
But boy, does Gem end up with some serious powers in the end.
Ross finally gets that new and different life he has wanted but it is not quite what he was expecting. I loved how he actually grew in this story from a sour, resentful man, to one of strength, honour and belief in himself and what he wanted.
Though I did find it easier to put down at a certain section than previous books, once the pace of the story picked up with the others joining in, I finished it in one sitting.
I didn’t feel much connection, romance or spark between Ross and Gem which was a disappointment but even saying that, I thoroughly enjoyed their hazard infested journey to the palace to free the people of the Isle of Elementals.
I have to say it was great to once again have a fairly full cast of known characters participate, whilst getting information on some we have not yet met.
I was glad Magna was able to help and that Ross defended her.
Ashure is his typical annoying yet mysterious and enigmatic self. I have his book and will be reading it soon.

Found the emotions quite obvious though narration.

Cannot say everyone sounded like I imagined but hey, I can overlook that detail. Found the emotions quite obvious though narration. BOOK REVIEW Loved this extended version. Though we get more sexy times with Koorgan and Ruth we also get a more rounded story as well. I did read it when I first bought it but review is not posted for some reason. No hardship to reread though before going on to the next book. Enjoyable how Ms Smith has managed to weave and interlock the timelines in things happening to more than one character. Great fun read and I did enjoy having Magda, Kane and Gabe play their part, though it was sad how they were treated. I need and want Magda to get the recognition she deserves for sacrificing herself for so long to do what she did. I dislike reporters anyway but the fact Tonya is lying by omission to Ruth, just reinforces my dislike of them and her. Sad to say she is going to be the mate of one of the most interesting characters in this series which is spoiling my enjoyment of this book.

Comes more alive with the narration.

Thoroughly enjoyable listening to this in audible. Comes more alive with the narration. BOOK REVIEW Really enjoyed this book. Nice change of pace in our leading characters. This is a great short story in this series which gives us a very quiet unassuming heroine (nothing kick arse about Mattie) and her fantastic pets. Mattie and her dogs save the ship when traitors plant explosives and also help in dealing with Tai Tek. Mattie is part of the circus and when they go to the stars she goes too as there is nothing on earth to keep her there. Her parents don’t care about her and her ex-boyfriend was a cheater. Jai was a nice change of pace, still manly and strong but no one special. He was just a normal serving soldier of Kassis and came from a farming family.

BOOK REVIEW From I don’t want a mate to MINE in one short breath. Adrian finds that no matter what he thinks about his two best friends being pussy whipped now they have mates, he is more than happy to meet the same fate at first glance and sniff of Sheri. Sheri suffers from Albinism and a stalker ex werewolf boyfriend. She has a history with Max the Alpha and Simon the 2nd. The relationship and humour between Adrian and Sheri is once again brilliant. Changes are happening in the pack. Pack roles are being identified and assigned. Everything is coming together really well. A really good story that has a good bit of action and a well written and good flowing story. My only question is why didn’t Sheri shift when Rudy was trying to rape her and claw his bits off? I love all the new characters we are meeting and cannot wait to see where this goes. Belle and Rick, oh my goodness, cannot wait for that book.

BOOK REVIEW This book starts off pretty much where book one ends with Becky being attacked by crazy Lydia. After having the fact Rebecca (Becky) is his mate forcibly shown to him, Simon feels guilty for ignoring his cat. He also has his work cut out showing Becky he is the puma for her whilst trying to protect her from revenge attacks. Once again the humour steals the show in this book. Love these feisty women. This series and all the interconnecting ones (Halle Shifters and Poconos Pack) give you highs, lows, laughter and tears. I have read all of these interconnecting books at least four times. These are my go to books for laugh out loud and relax reads. A great read featuring wonderful characters that kicks of some fantastic adventures, chaos and spin offs. Do yourself a favour and read Ms Bells books. I have owned this book and the whole series for years and love rereading them all. Previous reviews are missing.

BOOK REVIEW I can reread this book continuously. Love it. A good well written fun read with very interesting characters, which I always appreciate in a book. Emma is a capable interesting business woman who is able to bring Max to his knees. I am not a fan of the insta love/lust aspect in shifter books but it just works in this one for some reason. I think maybe the fact that Emma has lusted after Max since High School eases the way.
