I love this book so much. Everyone's heartbreak is so raw and painful and captured so well. And Celaena! what a strong character and it's amazing to go on her journey of self-discovery and acceptance!

Even better than the first book!

What an amazing sequel to From Blood and Ash! I think I loved this one even more. Poppy is an amazing heroine and the delectable tension between her and Casteel made this book. I loved every moment between them! and that ending! Oh my Gods!

Generally enjoyed but felt the ending was quite anticlimactic and didn't get into the book as much as the first one. The narration was great though.

I've not read much crime fiction but this was a great and enthralling aussie read. I didn't pick the killer either which is always a bonus! Well narrated also.

Some characters stories were very compelling but overall the story took me some time to get into as did most of the stories. I also thought the book was about real women so wasn't quite what I was expecting!

For the most part, this was a very interesting listen and I really enjoyed Matthew's narration. It was just like having a conversation with him laughing and sometimes making me laugh out loud. A few parts of the story lost my interest though and almost wanted to skip ahead to the next part.
I loved a lot of his philosophies on life though and how it wasn't just anecdotes but insights into his thinking and why he lives the way he does.
