Loved being read to by Michelle herself. It was as if she was there with me. Excellent narrative told with warts and all.

Very disappointing story line. Hard to believe Patterson wrote it. So far I’ve returned to beginning twice as it’s so disengaging I’ve no idea what had happened.

I kept waiting for some sort of coherent story line, but seems to be a series of short stories outlining the flawed justice system in US. Very disappointing.

Not as engaging as The Dry

The story is slow moving, the plot thin and characters never quite come to life.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I felt the storyline rambled at times. Mayb needed another good edit. But overall I enjoyed Story.

The narrator put me off to start with. Tried to stick with it but just couldn't get past 4th chapter. Waste of money!

Jane Harper's brings her reader into the homes and lives of people in this small country town. Story is well crafted and characters come to life. Several mysteries threaded together and slowly revealed through the now and the past. I enjoyed the narrator Steve Shanahan's reading. A great story. Dog walks became longer as I didn't want to stop listening.
