It is a shame that this book hadn’t been written within the storyline of The Rock, to my taste the melding of the two would have made very pleasurable reading by not requiring so many references to the characters within the story of The Rock.

What a clever narrator, Tim Campbell brings to life the characters within the storyline with an expertise that is unparalleled. He transported me deeply into the era of the time. Most satisfying.

Well read except for the Mousey squeaking voice portraying the heroine of the story line. Most off putting.

The female narrator of this Book which had a storyline that I enjoyed , portrayed the heroine of the story with a child like squeaky voice that l have never heard on a female Scot. .what a shame as l may miss out on other audio books now if narrated by this lady. Being an invalid these books are an enjoyment to me. Star rating a two.

I am sorry that l purchased this book. The character of the female first character palled after the third chapter, a negative self centred personality. I pitied the narrated having to repeat the same phrases of doubt on the male lead was still being reacted up to chapter thirteen. Most irritating. Very reluctant to purchase another story by this author.
