I'm Australian. This book intellectually triangulated between the legacies of the British empire, social disempowerment of youth and the affects we witness today on our own people. Also some amazing insight into Jamaican culture and history which I never knew about. Thank you Akala!

awesome. didn't agree with everything but there was lots to chew on. He completely pegged me behaviourally on a few points to which was great for self reflection.
