I am so thankful I chose this book in preparation for writing my first novel - it is exactly what I needed to set myself up for success. While I have read other books that were perhaps more comprehensive, when you're starting out, 'less is more', so I especially love the simplicity and clear, logical steps that pave the way to not only writing more in one sitting, but also provide an easy to follow process for planning/outlining and even editing your novel. I could not recommend this book enough!

Why do some products get more word of mouth than others? Why does some online content go viral? Word of mouth makes products, ideas, and behaviors catch on. It's more influential than advertising and far more effective. Can you create word of mouth for your product or idea? According to Berger, you can. Whether you operate a neighborhood restaurant, a corporation with hundreds of employees, or are running for a local office for the first time, the steps that can help your product or idea become viral are the same.

I decided to listen to this audiobook in preparation for writing my first novel. I wasn't sure if it would be relevant enough, but it surprised me how valuable it was in the planning of my product - a fictional novel - opening my mind to ideas on how to make it contagious. I loved how clear and simple the steps were laid out, and the remarkable stories to demonstrate each concept. I could not recommend this book enough!
