It's always good to hear a talented author talk about their craft. Stout is articulate and generous.

What a beautiful & heartbreaking love story. I'm listening a second time and hearing things I missed first time. I may go back for a third or more.

Everything, narrative, voice, story -all beautifully executed. I loved this one. Now I'm looking forward to listening to it again.

Certainly my favourite author and Juliet Stevenson does this book proud. I could listen to it over and over again. I probably will.

Some of the writing is so naive I wondered if I could bare to listen to the whole book. I did. It didn’t get any better.

Intersting story, well told, but there is something condescending about this story. At the end there is revealed something of the author, which I would have liked to have heard earlier.

Stan is a dick head and Charmaine vacuously nice, the world they’re living in brutal and revolting, but the story compeling and provocative. Loved it.
