So much "he said" "I said" over and over it was tedious to listen to. Monotone narration, not engaging at all.
Tried to return it halfway through chapter 1 but couldn't because it was a free download.

Engaging, entertaining and gripping story. Even though I'd seen the movie a few years ago. I love Will Weaton as the narrator.

Another great story, (some) dreadful narration

Another great but devastating book by Karin Slaughter. gripping to the end. The narrator did a great job for the most part, but my goodness she butchered the voices of pretty much any one that wasn't Sarah, Will or Jeffrey. The screechy caterwaul voices that she gave the characters were awful. It was almost enough to make me turn it off. The story prevented me from doing so.

This was equally amazing, inspiring, funny, terrible, enlightening and horrifying.
I had no idea that women had served in so many front-line roles in WW2.
Persist through the lengthy introduction, it is worth it.

I'm sure, if you're Scottish they're awful, but as an Aussie, I loved the subtlety of the range of accents portrayed by the narrator!

I guessed the surprise twist well in advance, but it was an enjoyable book regardless.
