I loved seeing Brody and Stephanie get a HEA they both desperately deserved. Steph - especially - has had a rough time and to see her learn to forgive herself was heartening. The thing that - for me - made this a 4.5/5 is that there is a lot of build up and then everything happens so quickly towards the end...I wanted more happy times with these two and I didn't get it! Ian and the regular McKay-Taggart crew is what helped me give this 4.5 rather than 4 stars!

Ryan West once again makes this story an absolute dream to listen to. His Aussie accent was very "ocker" - and as an Australian myself I am qualified to make that statement - but it wasn't grating or horrid to listen to so that's a big plus!!

I really enjoyed Nick and Hayley's story ... so much more than I thought I would. Essentially a second chance romance - one of my fave tropes - this story has Hayley turning up on Nick's doorstep in London after her home is blown up and she has no idea why. There were some great twists and turns in this story I didn't see coming and the growth between Nick and Hayley was beautiful. Add in some fabulously funny scenes with Ian Taggart and this is a book I will definitely be rereading time and time again.

Ryan West - yet again - does an incredible job of bringing these characters to life and his Russian accent is TO DIE FOR!!!

This story is one I had been waiting for since the events that took place in Master No and it is everything I could have asked for and more. Theo and Erin's love is hard fought and hard to hold onto...but it is worth every moment that they fight for what is theirs. From Dallas to London to a showdown I had been waiting BOOKS for... I loved every minute!!

Ryan West once again does an amazing job of bringing this story to life. His talent for giving each character their own unique voice is AMAZEBALLS!!

I really enjoyed Kai and Kori's story (especially the second time around as a listen via audiobook) and loved seeing these two come together after trying to force themselves apart. Jared and Sarah are two great side characters and I can't wait to read their story!! And thankfully the ongoing overall storyline has plenty of twists and turns that I didn't see coming!! A fabulous story!!

Ryan West once again does a brilliant job of bringing these characters to life!! I could listen to Ryan's voice ALL DAY!!

Master No is one of my all time favourite books in the Masters & Mercenaries series. Tennessee has been around since Love and Let Die (Book 5) and after the events of the previous book, you can't blame this disavowed CIA agent from seeking some revenge... in this case though Ten must go through Faith McDonald and he quickly learns that this is a woman he didn't see coming! And then we get to see more of two of McKay-Taggart's operatives as their relationship develops... but be prepared because this book has an ending no one saw coming!!

Ryan West does a magnificent job once again of bringing the McKay-Taggart team to life... and listening to his Southern accent as the swoony Ten is AMAZEBALLS!!

Anyone who has read the book will recognise the quote from the title of my review - the quote that brings me to tears everytime!!

I really enjoyed this story. I loved Phoebe and enjoyed getting to know her even more. She is so much more than the previous books reveal and I loved that!! And Jesse... he just needs a whole lot of love and as he comes to realise he has found an amazing family in the McKay-Taggart crew I fell for him even more!

Ryan West is AMAZING!! The fact that I can listen to book after book after book of him narrating goes to show his versatility and talent as a narrator!!!

I adore the M&M series and this addition is everything I could have ever asked for. I loved Simon from his first introduction back in Liam and Avery's book and it was thrilling to finally see him meet his match in the wonderful (but broken) Chelsea. These two shouldn't make sense and yet they do on every single level. Simon is the light to Chelsea's dark and together they bring out the best in one another. Add is some twists and turns to the suspense plot that I didn't see coming AND the addition of some family members that no one knew existed before this story (except for that sneaky Tennessee Smith) ... well this is a story I won't forget for a long time.

And Ryan West once again makes this story a totally brilliant one to listen to. His ability to give every single character a different voice - one you can really hear! - is amazing and his female voices are just as wonderful!!

I really enjoyed this foray into London, England for book 6 in Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries series. Damon and Penny are a fabulous couple and really bring out the best in one another. I really enjoyed the suspenseful plot line plus the introduction of some characters I really hope we see more of (Walt and Brody!!).

Ryan West does a brilliant job of the audio once again. His English accents were fabulous and of course as Ian he knocks it out of the park every time that man is "on screen". :)

Ian holds a special place in my heart - he is a one of kind man and one of my all time favourite Book Boyfriends. And this story is everything I wanted and then some!! Charlotte - his dead wife whom Ian didn't even tell his brother he had married! - arrives on Ian's doorstep and sends shockwaves through Ian's life!! But this woman, she is the perfect match for Ian ... if only she hadn't betrayed Ian 5 years before and sided with him enemy (not that Charlotte knew it was Ian's enemy at the time!). Get ready for an action-packed, sexy story which finally wraps up the anatagonist arc that began in book 1 (The Dom Who Loved Me).

This was a reread for me - via audio - and I can tell you I loved every single second!!!!! Ryan West has the most perfect voice for this series and his take on Ian was MAGIC!!

Ryan West has me hooked on M&M audio!!

I had already read Long Lost and ABSOLUTELY LOVED Tucker and Roni's story.... as it starts to really wrap up the Lost Boys' storyline ... and I decided to do a "reread" by listening to this book in preparation for the final one in this sub-series to come out next week (bring on Ezra and Solo!!)... and well, Ryan West has swept me off my feet and now I'm going back to reread in audio as many Masters & Mercenaries books as I can because I am IN LOVE!!

This story is not a standalone (even though technically Tucker & Roni's love story is) because there is an overarching storyline that just won't make sense if you haven't read the previous books. I can't rave enough about this book, this audio and this entire series!! Go and one click - you will not be disappointed.
