Story
Suspenseful, frightening, and sometimes howlingly funny, a story of invasion and battle, survival and heroism. It is a story of how men remember ... and how they love. In Derry, Maine, four young boys once stood together and did a brave thing. Something that changed them in ways they hardly understand. A quarter of a century later, the boys are men who have gone their separate ways. Though they still get together once a year, to go hunting in the north woods of Maine.

I enjoyed this book for a short while then I found I really struggled to listen to it. the story was just weird. the narrator is good though. I am a King fan but dreamcatchers just didn't capture my imagination at all.

Story
The house looked right, felt right to Dr Louis Creed. Rambling, old, unsmart and comfortable. A place where the family could settle, the children grow and play and explore. The rolling hills and meadows of Maine seemed a world away from the fume-choked dangers of Chicago. Only the occasional big truck out on the two-lane highway, grinding up through the gears, hammering down the long gradients, growled out an intrusive threat. But behind the house and far away from the road: that was safe.

This is my first audio book, so I have nothing to rate it against. I loved the story, I read it as a young adult years ago and loved to hear it like this. The narrator really bought the characters to life for me. I'm a big Steven King fan so I will be listening to more of my old favorites! Cujo next!
