I’ve just finished reading “American Dirt” and wow, what an extraordinary story. I found it to be a real page turner that explores so many things ... grief, love, kindness and above all survival. There’s been a lot of controversy about the book and the author so I’ll be very interested to hear what others think.

Loved this storyline with interesting characters and some unexpected twists. As always narrator Anne Dover is superb.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book - a story about a place and people I didn’t even know existed; no surprise really considering my most of my limited knowledge about Korea was sourced from M*A*S*H ! I found the narrator to be excellent and made the story come alive

I thoroughly enjoy the Cliffehaven series; the characters are well developed and the story lines interesting with some unexpected moments. The narrator is first class and does a fabulous job.

The narrator drove me crazy.....

I enjoyed the story but think the narrator was a poor choice. Whilst her voice was pleasant enough her performance was quite wooden and stilted, with very strange phrasing and inflection. I didn't enjoy her work at all, and struggled to continue listening. It was very hard to pick out the different characters as they all sounded the same.
