I enjoyed this book, and finally finding out more about these guys I've heard of now and again...

I really liked the messages. The way it was read was very hard to listen to for me. It reminded me of an infomercial... too bad, because the actual book is full of wisdom and insightful, if a bit repetitive. Still very worthwhile to listen to. I will probably listen to again.

I have enjoyed all of Hobbs' books so far, and I have read many. Dhe seems incredibly perspivacious in her character building and dynamics.
I love that she always has a social justice theme (or two) going, with some very deep considerations.
She seems a little confused around prostitution, but I forgive her ;p
The narrator is great!

Looking forward to listening to the next one

Very sweet and very well narrated. Like other Hobb books, some very obvious clues are given ahead, but then the story keeps taking interesting turns of events.
I really enjoyed it.

I guess it's for kids because the story is simplistic; over explained and predictable.
The narrator kept using a strange inflection at the end of every sentence, like surprized, emphatic, excited...all at the same time. And whenever he acted one of the theaves he put on a cockney type accent, but seemed to struggle to actually act at the same time
In spite of all this, I was engaged and kept listening

I dint normally listen to murder miseries, and inspite of being immersed in a horrible topic for all those hours, it was very gripping. There was only one flaw, which is why did he not ask the other reporter who the source was?
Anyway, well narrated, good tempo, good twists.

Enjoyed it in spite of myself

After the first two chapters, I was ready to return it, however, it turned out to be very amusing, with unexpected turns.
I was definitely entertained in spite of all the angst around weight and body image stuff and all the sexist clichés

I really enjoyed this book. Obviously all the different y accents left a bit to be desired, but they were good enough.

A story about living with trauma and displacement, it is beautifully written, poetic and full.
The narrator does a great job, finding the rhythm in the story and conveying a sense of nostalgia for all that is lost.
Enjoyed every moment.
