I really enjoyed this book. I loved the story, the narrator was excellent. This is not my normal type of book but decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. While reading I was constantly smiling and laughed out loud many times. I really endearing main character. A Big thumbs up from me.

Excellent Story well read. Thumbs Up.

I really enjoyed the story line, its twists and the many layers as the plot developed. I particularly enjoyed the way it was read. It's no nonsense delivery was refreshing and not someone trying to "act" each character which can be very annoying if not done properly. it's a big thumbs up from me.

Another fantastic piece of work from Dominic Smith. This novel transported me back to the turning of the century and the birth of film. it portrays the amazement of the day to this new medium. There is a rich cast of characters and a mesmerising storyline. I was absolutely enthralled. Following this and "The Last painting of Sara de Vos". Dominic has now become my favourite author.

I was a little dissapointed with the overall experience. The story was very average and trundled along but never really got going. The narration was ok but because of the accent I couldn't help thinking I was listening to an episode of Thomas the tank engine.

Eckhart, author of "The power of Now", delivers another profound and insightful teaching on consciousness. I read this book some time back and decided to see how it would translate via audio. For me it worked even better as it allowed me to be still and fully aware as I listened. The content had more power especially as it was read by Eckhart himself. How do you rate a book that points to the flowering of human consciousness. 5 Stars.
