The overall story line is well thought out, with interesting ebs and flows. Well written and action packed. Very easily draws you in with the sophisticated language and pacing. There can be no doubt his real life years on the front line of espionage has enhanced his ability to write about these experiences.
It is just a shame to see how the anti-Russia, pro-America bigotry is overpowering and the predominant message.
The narrator did a fantastic job with authentic Russian pronunciation and lively tone. Fantastic job bringing the story to life.

A masterpiece about remarkable persons living through hell. More than just a biography, it's a epic struggle through Nazi occupied Netherlands and a side of the war very rarely talked about. Wonderfully relatable thanks to the truthful and somber browns eyes and smile that is revered around the world. Brilliant!
The narrator did a great job with the dutch and encompassing the emotion of the story.

Reading was smooth & adequate, accents and character voice well distinguished.
Storyline initally promising with a different take on memories and the question of magic and witchcraft or people's ignorance. But inevitably just another boring and predictable story.
