I love Bernard Taylor - this is a great book, slowly building to a terrifying conclusion!

This book gave me goosebumps! It's a really creepy story - don't listen at night in bed like I did!!! It prompted me to watch the movie (the old 1980's version) which is also genuinely unsettling.

This is a great book! I enjoyed every minute - it has a dual storyline one present day and one past centering around a dilapidated old house, Black Rabbit Hall. There is tradgedy, romance, family secrets and more. Highly recommended for holiday reading!

This is a fantastic dramatisation, enjoyed every minute - it's really well done. I was so sad when it was finished, I looked forward to each new diary entry to see what would happen next to Sam, Lizzy and their friends and family. It really shows how nothing changes, the people in 1660's London had the same problems and issues, feelings and joys that we have today. My only tiny criticism would be that the song used does get tedious as it is used throughout the entire performance whenever music is called for as well as to seperate the chapters and the chapters are quite short!! But that is worth overlooking. One of the best audiobooks I've listened to.

I really enjoyed this - only short but very brave story of a young girl putting herself into a dangerous situation to expose the plight of women in insane institutions in New York city in the 1800's. Easy to listen to, I would have liked it to be longer!

This was just awful! Completely unbelievable storyline, strange character reactions to situations - stuck with it for a while but just couldn't finish it.
