A bit of a train wreck.

The Sookie Stackhouse books were fun to begin with but by at least books 12 and 13, they limped across the finish line. The storyline is repetitive (basically more attempts to frame Sookie for murder and/or to kill her). The plot was even more weak than normal. For those who like the vampire characters, they are pretty much missing from this book which was a bit disappointing. So listen / read 'Dead Ever After' if you want to say you got through the series. However you may need to lower your expectations to not get too bored.

Too short but a good story

I liked the story but it was too short. I didn't realise that this is more a novella and as such the ending came too soon. The narrator was good. Due to the shortness of the book and that I didn't feel the book was worth a full credit, I gave it 3 stars, although 3.5 stars would be more appropriate.
