With the greatest respect to the author, the concept of commencing your day early, utilising the time to learn and focus on your goals, setting yourself up to win, has been around for a long time. Anyone that has read Napoleon Hill, Jim Rohn or Tony Robbins has come across these pieces of wisdom before. I thought it was a little bold of the author to say that he came up with this. Nevertheless there are good concepts in this book that will definitely provide outcomes. I found that the essence of the book could have been presented much more straight forward and to the point without the fluff and drawn out stories.

Human reasoning is remarkably shallow - in fact our thinking and justifications just scratch the surface of the true complexity of the issues we deal with. The ability to think may still be the greatest wonder in the world (and beyond), but the way that individuals think is less than ideal. In The Knowledge Illusion, Sloman and Fernbach show that our intelligence resides not in individual brains but in the collective mind.

Whilst I found some of the examples a little too authoritarian and perhaps not as much strategic I would still highly recommend this book. Freddy has provided so many great examples, metaphors and approaches that evidently work, the language can easily be adjusted to make it more permissive. The bonus sessions are particularly useful and just really add to the experience, particular for anyone new to the topic. I have actually ordered the physical books as well, Loved the audiobook, it definitely exceeded expectations.
