Story
Kayla Cox was a frustrated mom of three, who weighed 222 pounds when she discovered intermittent fasting. She eventually lost over 80 pounds using this method of eating, but she had mixed results at first. She finally realized her big mistake: she was making it too complicated. She did not need to count calories, restrict carbs, or even limit her portion sizes. She found the best results when she made her plan simple and easy.

I love the simplicity of this book. She doesn’t get into the science, but she does refer you to books that do. She talks about being a B+ student rather than perfection. A little cream in your coffee is not going to kill the fast. A cheat day that is mandatory every Sunday even if there was a cheat event earlier that week, is a must. Progress is slow steady and stays the course. It took a long time to get fat it’ll take less time by fasting to get thin. Read this book.

Story
For over a century, we've accepted the scientific consensus that cancer results from genetic disease due to chromosomal damage in cell nuclei. But what if scientists are chasing a flawed paradigm? What if cancer isn't a disease of damaged DNA but rather of defective metabolism as a result of mitochondrial dysfunction? What if that startling truth could revolutionize our understanding of other diseases, too - and show us a radical new path to optimal health?

Very Difficult way to do Keto
Reviewed: 23-06-2017
If you are looking to start the keto lifestyle then this is NOT the book for you. It is so heavy with weighing everything and testing yourself that had this been my first exposure to this lifesaving way of life, i would have chosen to get a Big Mac instead. Try Keto clarity or the new Atkins for a new you first. Both are far easier to adhere too. Thankfully I did.
