This is a heart wrenching story, modernized Romeo and Juliet. From the title alone "All the Bright Places", I thought this is just a cliche of young adult novels whom high school students began from enemies to lovers. As the book progresses, hell it took a lot of my emotions and gut to continue listening this book. Finch and Violet made me realize that suicide happens not only because people are coward but there are other reasons why some people do so. Story is like 13 Reasons Why but this book made me realize that love is not enough for some to change their perception in life. There are a lot of factors and blaming oneself is not very helpful. The best thing we can do is that for them to make them feel they are not only loved but you will always be there no matter what. The narration is okay or maybe I'm just biased since I have favorite narrators. All in all this story is one to watch out for specially Netflix already made it into motion.

I can't stop laughing while listening to the book. There was a balance of happy and sad events of the story. I enjoyed it since this is a different type of love story, the fact that Khai has autism and he is capable of falling in love also Esme who is a single mom found the love of her life. Somehow this story gives hope to all people who doesn't believe that true love exist. I am now a a fan Helen Hoang.

Great Job!!!

Though it started a bit slow as the story progressed I enjoyed it and I listened to it non stop. I love that this is different with Fifty Shades of Grey, I was not waiting for the erotic scenes but the story on what will happen next and the suspense that I felt while listening to it. The narrators are TWO THUMBS UP. You made the book even better. Kudos to Dominic Thorburn, Jessica O'Hara-Baker.

I love that she kept the story short and straightforward. I was not that smitten and cried but I feel sympathy to both of them.

One of the best book I've ever heard. She's not ashamed of her weaknesses but instead use it as her strength. I've never known the author until I listened to her book. Everyone should listen to this book!!!
