I'm not sure if these books will be a trilogy (or if there will be more) but this one felt like it was doing a lot of building up to the next book. Not only that, but it was very confusing. The author seemed to be reneging on a lot of the things established in the first book. Maybe these will be explained in the next book, but I was left frustrated and as if I wasn't getting it. I also struggled with the narration from the new characters, as I felt Cassies narration was much better. Anyway, after reading the next book, this one might make more sense. Until then, I'm not sure...

Fantastic trilogy! Found myself expecting a big twist or revelation, but the build up to the finale was slower than most other books I've listened to and it was very refreshing. Would recommend this trilogy to anyone looking for a reality based zombie apocalypse book, whose focus is in the characters and not in a search for a "cure".

Was Hooked! on the first one, this one is the line. Loving this trilogy, the characters are fantastic and the action is addictive. I enjoy the narration, but sometimes wish the male voices were narrated by a male voice - this is my only criticism.

Absolutely loved this book. Have listened to it 3 or 4 times. Love the characters and the narration, couldn't wait to listen to the next one.

I have been listening to a lot of trilogy books, so it's refreshing to have a book that finishes without a cliffhanger. The narration was great, the story was entertaining, not sure if the characters were quite as rounded as I'd like, but the culture references were fantastic. Highly recommend!
