Great story - wrong choice of narrator.

J.R Ward doesn't disappoint, once again. The Jackal is classic BDB and the whole story was great from start to end.
My only criticism is the Narrator who was the absolute wrong choice for this book. No offence to him, but he sounds like the guy voicing blockbuster movie reviews. Totally not what you want for erotic chic vampire literature! Please choose a different narrator for the next instalment!

I've really enjoyed this series so far, but this book was really quite disappointing... very slow and a bit boring. Too much thinking and not enough doing. I'll be looking forward to the next instalment though.

This story is so moving I had goosebumps by the end of it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story, despite how harrowing it was to hear about what they went through in the concentration camps.
The narrator was good, however I did think he sounded like two different people a lot of the time. Still, I enjoyed the book immensely.
